## COMMENTARIUS IN DISTINCTIONEM XLIX.
Pars I.
De statu et conditione bonorum post iudicium.
Post resurrectionem vero, facto universo completoque iudicio etc.
DIVISIO TEXTUS.
Supra egit Magister de iudicio. In hac parte agit de statu post iudicium. Et quoniam duplex est status secundum duplicem civitatem, unam scilicet Ierusalem et alteram Babylonis; ideo pars ista duas habet. In prima determinat statum et conditionem bonorum. In secunda, statum et conditionem damnatorum, infra distinctione quinquagesima: Hic oritur quaestio ex praemissis etc.
Prima pars habet duas. In prima parte determinat beatitudinem et gloriam a parte spiritus. In secunda vero, ex parte corporis, ibi: Post haec quaeri solet, si beatitudo etc.
Prima pars habet tres partes. In prima determinat, quid sit beatitudo, et quid sit esse beatum. In secunda vero determinat de beatitudinis appetitu, ibi: Solet quaeri de beatitudine. In tertia vero determinat modum participandi, utrum aequaliter participetur a diversis, ibi: Solet etiam quaeri, utrum aliquid de Deo cognoscat etc.
TRACTATIO QUAESTIONUM.
Ad intelligentiam huius partis quaeritur de beatitudine. Et de hoc sex quaeruntur.
Primo quaeritur, quid sit beatitudo.
Secundo, qualiter sit appetibilis.
Tertio, in quo sit.
Quarto, secundum quid insit.

Part I.
On the state and condition of the good after the judgment.
But after the resurrection, when the universal judgment has been made and completed, etc.
DIVISION OF THE TEXT.
Above the Master treated of the judgment. In this part he treats of the state after the judgment. And since the state is twofold according to the twofold city, the one namely Jerusalem and the other Babylon, therefore this part has two [parts]. In the first he determines the state and condition of the good. In the second, the state and condition of the damned, below in distinction fifty: Here a question arises from what has been set down, etc.
The first part has two. In the first part he determines beatitude and glory on the side of the spirit. In the second, however, on the side of the body, there: After these things it is customarily asked whether the beatitude etc.
The first part has three parts. In the first he determines what beatitude is, and what it is to be blessed. In the second, however, he determines concerning the appetite for beatitude, there: It is customarily asked concerning beatitude. In the third, however, he determines the manner of participating, whether it is equally participated in by diverse persons, there: It is also customarily asked whether he knows anything of God, etc.
TREATMENT OF THE QUESTIONS.
For the understanding of this part inquiry is made concerning beatitude. And concerning this six things are asked.
First it is asked, what beatitude is.
Second, in what manner it is desirable.
Third, in what it is.
Fourth, according to what it is present.
Fifth, concerning its act or operation.
Sixth, concerning differing participation.
