Supra egit Magister de gloria spiritus, in qua consistit prima stola. Hic agit de gloria corporis, in qua consistit stola secunda. Dividitur autem haec pars in tres partes secundum tria, quae determinat. Primo enim ostendit, quod in resumtione corporum erit augmentum gloriae. Secundo vero determinat modum, per quem gloria spiritus augebitur, ibi: Si quem movet, quid opus sit. Tertio determinat, quale corpus reddetur animae beatae, scilicet spirituale, non animale; et hoc facit, ibi: Proinde, cum hoc corpus iam non animale etc.

Part II.
On the glory of the body, or on the second robe.
After these things it is customary to ask, whether the beatitude of the Saints etc.

DIVISION OF THE TEXT.
Above the Master treated of the glory of the spirit, in which the first robe consists. Here he treats of the glory of the body, in which the second robe consists. Now this part is divided into three parts according to the three things which he determines. For first he shows that in the resumption of bodies there will be an increase of glory. Secondly, he determines the manner by which the glory of the spirit will be increased, there: If it moves anyone, what need there is. Thirdly, he determines what sort of body will be restored to the beatified soul, namely a spiritual one, not an animal one; and he does this there: Accordingly, since this body is now not animal etc.
TREATMENT OF THE QUESTIONS.
For the understanding of this part, inquiry is made concerning the glory of the body. And concerning this, two things are principally asked4.
